We are a group of Catholic home schooling families who
belong to parishes from all over the We are currently working on our new schedule for the 2009-2010 school year. We hope to have the following activities: Moms' Meetings: October 20, 2009 from 6:30-8:00pm at Nonna Maria's on Mobile Hwy across from Bellview Middle School. Come and visit with other mothers, have dinner or dessert (only if you want, THIS IS NOT A Requirement for us to meet there, the owner is VERY gracious!), brainstorm about the upcoming All Saints' Party, and share questions and concerns about homeschooling our Catholic kids!!! Breastfeeding babies are welcome! First and Third Friday Art Co-op is from 10am to 11am at St. Anne's Family life center. Please contact Rosa for more details at salveregina7@cox.net Children's Eucharistic Holy Hour held periodically at St. Anne's in Bellview. Family Potlucks tba in the Spring of 2010!!! All Saints' Party: We will have an All Saints' Party at St. Anne's Sunday Nov. 1 from 6-8pm. If there are any families willing to set up a booth or donate prizes for the evening please let me know what the booth saint and theme will be. We have the Family Life Center free of charge, but will have to do all set up and clean up ourselves. We can set up Sunday afternoon from 12:00 o'clock on. We will have saint's custume contest and a pumkin carving contest (please carve your pumkin at home and bring the finished result for display). If you decide to make a snack of pumkin seeds please bring those to share too. Lets have a wonderful celebration of our saints. Also if kids would like to draw or make poster about a saint for display they could do that too. For further information or questions, please contact Rosa at salveregina7@cox.net. Holy Family Ball: Please mark your calenders. We will have our traditional Holy Family Ball on Sunday December 27th the Feast of the Holy Family at St. Anne's family life center. We will be setting up and decorating on Saturday the 26th there will be many chairs to break down and put away from the Christmas mass so many hands would be appreciated. The ball is as dressy as you can be, it is not meant to be a financial burden. It is meant to be a very special occassion where we wear our very best ball gown or gentleman's suit or tux. Cindy and Roger will provide the music. Everyone is invited to bring food to share whatever you wish to have. And don't forget your camera's this is a great family picture moment. We do our very best to monitor this group and ensure the safety of our members. We only approve members to this group once they have made a face to face meeting with members or they are "vouched for" by an active member.Natural Family Planning Classes: A Couple to Couple League Series of Sympto-Thermal Natural Family Planning will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pensacola beginning on Oct. 18 from 1-3:30pm.
